The COE in Cyber Security aims at building an integrated Cyber Security intelligent infrastructure for mobile security, web security, application security, network security, system security, and email security. Furthermore, the Cyber Security CoE is to help students develop skills while encouraging academic research and ideas for the best Cyber Security initiatives. The goal of the Cyber Security Center of Excellence is to promote a cyber-safe and conducive environment for industry collaboration, close ability gaps, raise awareness, and foster innovation in this emerging technology sector. The Center of Excellence will also facilitate standardization and best practices for information security across industry domains, foster innovation, research, and development, and run some of the most advanced in-house training programs in Cyber Security Technologies.
